John Jones, a 45-year-old male from Lafayette, LA, tragically died on March 16, 2017, after being shot in the chest in the 100 block of Hansel Drive. The incident was investigated by the Lafayette Police Department and Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, and on December 19, 2017, Jeantrell Pierson, 26, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder in connection with Jones' death.
