In the early morning hours of October 23, 2017, the quiet of the 200 block of Marigny Circle in Lafayette, Louisiana, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When Lafayette Parish Sheriff's deputies arrived around 3 a.m., they discovered the body of 29-year-old Jordan Dean. The Carencro man had been fatally shot in what investigators quickly determined to be a homicide.
