Eric Brown, a 40-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 18, 2017, in Slidell, Louisiana. The incident occurred during a family gathering on Father’s Day, which turned deadly when gunfire erupted around 8:45 p.m. in the 1300 block of Sunset Drive. Upon arrival, officers found Eric Brown lying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
