Javonte Donaldson, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on January 8, 2017, in Slidell, Louisiana. The incident occurred during what authorities described as a drug deal gone wrong. The shooting took place in the 1900 block of Highway 190 West, near the Baptiste Apartments.
