Chance’lor Parker, 18, a Black male from Lacombe, was shot near Slidell’s Possum Hollow Park on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Officers responding to multiple 911 calls shortly before 5 p.m. found him in the park’s parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds; medics rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he died. The St. Tammany Parish coroner later determined he suffered gunshot wounds to the torso and a lower extremity, and ruled the death a homicide.
