In the summer of 2017, the life of 18-year-old Juawane Gray was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Marrero, Louisiana. On the evening of Wednesday, June 21, 2017, Gray was the victim of a double shooting, an event that also left another individual wounded.

Emergency services responded to the incident, and Gray was pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office began an investigation into the homicide. At the time, authorities did not immed ...
