Letisha Rheams, a 27-year-old woman from Independence, Louisiana, was found dead on June 27, 2017. She had suffered a gunshot wound to her lower back. The incident occurred at her residence, where deputies responded to a medical emergency call before 11 a.m. that day. Upon arrival, they found Letisha Rheams on the front porch with the fatal injury.
