Jason Velasquez, 46, a male, was shot to death in Lancaster on the night of October 15, 2025. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster Station were called to the area of West Avenue J-2 and Sierra Highway just after 10 p.m. for reports of gunfire. He was found in a parking lot and pronounced dead at the scene as investigators began sealing off the block and interviewing witnesses in the late-night chill.
