On July 16, 2024, at approximately 3:30 p.m., 18-year-old George Peter Al Hawara was fatally shot while working alone at his family's business, Smoke Hookah, located at 1440 West Avenue I in Lancaster, California.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, two male suspects entered the smoke shop and became involved in an altercation with Al Hawara. During the confrontation, one suspect produced a firearm and shot Al Hawara in the chest. The suspects then fled the scene
