Daytra Miller, a 42-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed on December 23, 2018, in Independence, Louisiana. The incident occurred at her home on the corner of Fontana Road and Labruzza Lane. Alongside her, her 13-year-old son, Robert West Jr., also lost his life in this heinous crime.
