Leroy Sims III, a 19-year-old African American male, passed away on August 1, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana. His death was a tragic event that left the community in mourning. Leroy was a resident of Hammond and was well-known in the area. His funeral services were held at Eastside Pentecostal COGIC in Hammond, and he was laid to rest at Holly Gardens Cemetery.
