Jontrell Wells, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 4, 2017, in Kenner, Louisiana. The incident occurred outside a Sweet 16 party, where gunshots erupted during an argument over a "neighborhood rivalry" between two groups. Wells was fatally shot during this altercation, which led to a series of arrests and investigations.
