In the early morning hours of September 3, 2022, a fatal encounter unfolded in the parking lot of a convenience store on Loyola Drive in Kenner, Louisiana. Alejandro Quiroz, a 43-year-old male, was shot twice in what would become a homicide investigation that would grip the community. Responding officers found Quiroz wounded at approximately 4:00 AM. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.
