Tommie Hunter Jr., a 64-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on August 13, 2016, in Kenner, Louisiana. The incident occurred at an apartment complex located in the 2200 block of 25th Street. According to the Kenner Police Department, Hunter was shot multiple times in his apartment and was subsequently taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
