Akoya Skeith, a 25-year-old male from Kenner, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on December 24, 2017. Initially reported as an accidental shooting, the incident was later ruled a homicide by the Kenner Police Department. The shooting occurred just after midnight on Christmas Eve in the 200 block of Clemson Place.
