Byron Jenkins, a 36-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on January 28, 2018, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Jenkins was found with apparent gunshot injuries outside the Sterling and Sterling Detail Shop, located at 890 Scenic Highway. The incident occurred during an after-wedding party hosted by Christopher Jerome Sterling, who co-owns the property. A 23-year-old woman also suffered a gunshot injury but survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
