Bud Landrum was a 42-year-old man who died on February 17, 2018, after a midday burst of gunfire shattered the ordinary rhythm of Tremé in New Orleans. Just after 11:30 a.m., police were called to the area of St. Ann Street and North Prieur Street, where they found two men struck in their upper bodies—one slumped inside an automobile, the other lying out in the street.
