In the late summer of 2019, the life of 17-year-old Rontrell Henry, a student at McDonogh 35 High School, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Tuesday, August 6th, Henry was the victim of a fatal shooting in New Orleans East. The incident, which also left another teenager wounded, unfolded in the 8500 block of the North I-10 Service Road.
