On a summer evening in New Orleans, 38-year-old Kurshaw Twin Jackson’s life was tragically cut short on July 28, 2018. He was caught in a hail of bullets in what authorities have described as a devastating mass shooting on South Claiborne Avenue. The chaotic scene left two other individuals, Jeremiah Lee and Taiesha Watkins, dead and seven others wounded. The male victim, Mr. Jackson, was an unintended casualty in a conflict that police believe was rooted in gang activity.
