Shaquille Cooper, a 29-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on April 6, 2022, in the 1800 block of Music Street in the St. Roch neighborhood of New Orleans. The incident occurred around 8:36 p.m., and despite being transported to the hospital by Emergency Medical Services, Cooper succumbed to his injuries within half an hour.
