In the quiet town of Plaquemine, Louisiana, the life of 24-year-old Travis Washington was abruptly cut short on a September night in 2018. On the evening of September 12th, or possibly in the early hours of the following day, Washington was the victim of a fatal shooting. The incident unfolded on LA 1, where first responders initially believed they were responding to a car crash.
