Charles Riley, 33, male, was a deputy with the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office in Plaquemine, Louisiana. On the night of October 6, 2025, he and another deputy were interviewing a 27-year-old man in connection with a sexual assault investigation inside the Iberville Parish Courthouse when a struggle erupted.
