In the early morning hours of Friday, June 7, 2024, the life of 43-year-old Bazile Mitchell Jr., a male resident of Plaquemine, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. Neighbors reported hearing a loud argument escalating from a home on North Nadler Street, culminating in the distinct sound of a gunshot around 6:30 a.m.. The Plaquemine Police Department was summoned to the scene shortly after, where they discovered Mitchell's body inside the residence, bearing fatal bullet wounds. He was pronounced ...
