In the summer of 2021, a young man's life was tragically cut short on a street in Plaquemine, Louisiana. Telly Sherrell Jackson Jr., a 23-year-old male, was the victim of a fatal shooting on the evening of Sunday, July 11th. The incident, fueled by an ongoing dispute, unfolded just before 8 p.m. near the intersection of Barrow and Hebert streets, sending ripples of grief through the community.
