On June 4, 2024, 23-year-old Jaheim Gailes was fatally shot outside his home in Plaquemine, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. along Bourgoyne Street. According to the Plaquemine Police Department, Rashad Seals approached Gailes' home and began firing gunshots, one of which hit Gailes. Despite being taken to a hospital, Gailes succumbed to his injuries.
