In the quiet town of Plaquemine, Louisiana, the life of Jahiem Amaru Gailes, a 22-year-old male, was abruptly cut short on the evening of Tuesday, June 4, 2024. A graduate of Plaquemine High School, Gailes was a private first class in the Louisiana National Guard with over five years of service.
