Darlene Cecelia Gotreaux, a 70-year-old woman from Lake Charles, LA, tragically lost her life on December 16, 2018. She was found dead alongside her husband, Walter Joseph Gotreaux, in their home on Highway 90, west of Lacassine. The couple was well-known in their community; Walter was an insurance agent, farmer, and president of the Lake Charles Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association, while Darlene was a banker.
