Annette Dupre Touvell, a 65-year-old woman from Lake Charles, Louisiana, was tragically killed on the evening of Saturday, March 2, 2024, in what authorities have described as a senseless act of violence. Touvell was at her residence, watching television with her husband, when she was struck by a bullet from a drive-by shooting that penetrated her home. She was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
