Gerald Augustus Jr., a 37-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 25, 2018, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was found lying in a yard in the 6200 block of Blackberry Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to the scene around 5:12 AM, where Augustus was pronounced dead upon their arrival.
