In the summer of 2021, on July 15th, a burst of violence shattered the evening quiet in a Baton Rouge neighborhood. Percy Parker Jr., a 49-year-old man, was at his home near the intersection of Bank Street and Evangeline Street when he was struck by multiple gunshots. The sudden and brutal attack left him with grave injuries. Emergency services were quickly summoned, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital in a desperate attempt to save his life.
