Vernon Covington, a 42-year-old man from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on December 26, 2018. He was fatally shot in the 5200 block of Washington Avenue near Bahm Street around 4:26 PM. The Baton Rouge Police Department launched an investigation into his death, but details about the incident remain limited.
