On December 21, 2024, 48-year-old Derek Lee was found with a gunshot wound in the 1100 block of North 36th Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Upon arrival, Baton Rouge Police Department officers discovered Lee suffering from a gunshot injury. He was promptly transported to a local hospital but, despite medical efforts, succumbed to his injuries.
The Baton Rouge Police Department has classified the case as a homicide and is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Lee's death
