Lester Borne Jr., a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 17, 2019, in Laplace, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Lester was driving a 2006 Chrysler Sebring with two other Reserve residents. At approximately 3:23 a.m., while traveling westbound on the Bonnet Carre Spillway, the vehicle was targeted by gunfire.
