In a tragic turn of events, 18-year-old Derrick Jones was shot and killed in New Orleans on the evening of March 9, 2019. The incident occurred inside a residence in the 4700 block of Dwyer Road in the New Orleans East neighborhood. At the time of the fatal shooting, Jones was reportedly with other individuals filming a video.
