In the early morning hours of June 9, 2019, the life of 33-year-old Keith James Viator, a male resident of New Iberia, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. Viator, a diesel mechanic, was at his home when he was fatally shot, succumbing to his injuries at the scene. His death was classified as a homicide, prompting an investigation by the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office.
