Latron Eugene, a 14-year-old resident of New Iberia, Louisiana, lost his life to gun violence on January 16, 2023. His body was discovered behind the Iberia Village Apartments, specifically in a tree line between two wooden fences in the 500 Block of W Admiral Doyle Drive. The New Iberia Police responded to the scene at approximately 2:37 in the afternoon and confirmed that the individual had been deceased for some time.
