On a quiet Saturday afternoon in Baton Rouge, the life of 28-year-old Roderick Daniels Jr. was tragically cut short. On June 15, 2019, around 5:00 p.m., Daniels was discovered in the front yard of a home on Susan Avenue with critical gunshot wounds. Emergency responders rushed him to a nearby hospital, but the severity of his injuries proved fatal, and he succumbed to them shortly after arrival.
