In the warm evening hours of June 24, 2019, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the life of 25-year-old Davante Robertson, a Black male, was tragically cut short. Sixth District officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Clara Street around 8:34 p.m. following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Robertson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
