In the summer of 2019, a burst of gunfire shattered the evening calm on Spanish Town Road in Baton Rouge, leaving a young man dead in his own front yard. The victim was identified as Greg Dixon, a 30-year-old male who was well-known in his community. On the evening of Saturday, July 6, 2019, Dixon was outside his residence when he was struck by multiple bullets. The brazen attack left neighbors shaken and a family grieving an unexpected and violent loss.
