In the winter of 2019, the community of Monroe, Louisiana, was shaken by the violent death of 42-year-old Edgar Lewis. On the evening of December 7th, Lewis was fatally wounded in a shooting that occurred in the Tanglewood Subdivision. The incident prompted an investigation by the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office as they worked to piece together the events that led to the gunfire.
