Ashton "Cutter" Nelson, a 24-year-old man from Homer, Louisiana, was tragically killed on December 17, 2019. Nelson was found dead inside his vehicle on Norton Street, having been shot multiple times before suspects attempted to set both him and his vehicle on fire. The incident occurred just before midnight at the intersection of Memphis and Adams Streets. The Homer Police Department, led by Chief Van McDaniel, responded to the scene and discovered Nelson's body early the next morning.
