In the small town of Homer, Louisiana, a dispute between two acquaintances escalated into a fatal encounter, leaving one man dead and another facing a murder charge. On the afternoon of March 2, 2022, events took a tragic turn at the Oil Mill Street residence of 64-year-old Johnny Lee Gilbert. An altercation broke out between Gilbert and 69-year-old Jerry Glyn Williams, a fellow resident of Homer.
