Corodney "Kell" Specks II, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 14, 2017, in Homer, Louisiana. The incident occurred during a kickball tournament, where shots were fired shortly after police arrived on the scene. Specks was transported to Claiborne Memorial Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. His funeral service was held at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Homer, LA, and he was laid to rest at Wilson Cemetery in Gibsland, LA.
