Chris "Boogie" McCann, a 45-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on January 1, 2020, in New Orleans, Louisiana. McCann, who had been released from prison less than six months prior, was a known member of the Central City gang, 3NG. On the day of his death, McCann was inside his vehicle on Claiborne Avenue near Louisiana Avenue when an unknown assailant opened fire.
