Aubrey Johnson, a 27-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 11, 2020, in Monroe, Louisiana. The incident occurred on the 200 block of Hippolyte Avenue, where officers responded to a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Aubrey Johnson with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. The Monroe Police Department quickly launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
