In New Orleans, Louisiana, on Sunday, June 14, 2020, Guy Lee Jackson, a 65-year-old male, passed away. Born in the city on February 23, 1955, he was a lifelong resident and a product of the New Orleans Public School System.
Following his graduation from Booker T. Washington High School, Jackson served his country by enlisting in the United States Army. His military service extended from 1973 until 1978.
After his time in the army, he remained in his hometown, where he lived until his death. The circumstances of his passing did not lead to any arrests or the naming of any suspects.
Jackson was a father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Helen Jackson, and two of his brothers. His family held a funeral service for him at the New Hope Baptist Church on Reverend John Raphael Jr. Way, followed by interment at the Southeast Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery.
