On June 12, 2023, at approximately 11:28 PM, the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) responded to a report of an aggravated battery by shooting in the 4000 block of Sullen Place in New Orleans, Louisiana. Upon arrival, officers found Kirk Johnson Jr., a 42-year-old man, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the midsection of his body.
