Jermaine Demond Jarvis Sr., a 37-year-old African American man from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on July 15, 2020. He was fatally shot during a shooting incident on Linden Street in Baton Rouge. Jarvis was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The incident was part of a double homicide, with another victim, Cody Hypolite, 27, also killed at the scene.
