In the late evening of September 28, 2020, in Shreveport, Louisiana, a violent encounter cut short the life of 23-year-old Denzel Jamar Taylor. Responding to reports of a shooting on Wallace Avenue just before 10:00 p.m., Shreveport Police officers discovered a grim scene. Denzel, along with 25-year-old Ladarrien Taylor, was found suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body.
