Denzel Jamar Taylor, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 28, 2020, in Shreveport, Louisiana. On that fateful night, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 7100 block of Wallace Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Denzel Jamar Taylor and another victim, 25-year-old Ladarrien Taylor, suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body.
