Leon Shawn Turner, a 44-year-old man from Jena, Louisiana, was tragically killed on October 24, 2020. Turner was working under the hood of his car when several gunmen ambushed him, opening fire in what was described as an "ambush-style shooting". Turner was shot twice and pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses described seeing an individual running from the area, approximately 5'10" tall, wearing a camouflage-style pullover and black pants.
