On an autumn evening in Jena, Louisiana, the life of 44-year-old Leon Shawn Turner was brought to a violent and abrupt end. On October 24, 2020, while engrossed in working under the hood of his car, Turner was ambushed by several gunmen who unleashed a sudden hail of bullets. The attack was swift and brutal, leaving Turner with two gunshot wounds and no chance of survival; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
