Diontrell Celestine, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident near downtown Lafayette, Louisiana, on November 13, 2020. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 2:45 a.m., in the 700 block of Voorhies Street. Alongside Diontrell, another 18-year-old male, Curley Domingue, also succumbed to gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
